History of Camp Shohola

Camp Shohola has been family owned and operated by the Bargers when Frank Barger purchased the camp back in 1943. Even though it has been passed down 3 different generations, one thing that has always been preserved is the “Classic Camp” feel which is so noticeable when you visit Shohola. The beautiful natural setting of camp remains quite intact to this day, and the growth in enrollment to approximately 160 boys has not changed the fact that Shohola feels like a nice small camp where everybody knows each other.

Dates and Rates

* Some flexibility is possible with dates. Just contact us with the dates you need, and we can let you know.

A deposit of $1000.00 must accompany the application in order to enroll a camper and save a spot. One half of the deposit is refundable if a camper withdraws before May 1st.

A sibling discount of 5% is automatically given to families with two or more children enrolled at either Shohola or Netimus for four weeks or longer.

Registration

In order to secure a place at camp for your son, please just fill in the online application and make your deposit. Once we receive the completed application, we will immediately e-mail you a parent welcome pack which contains several documents to help you further prepare for your son’s stay with us.
